La presentació

Remember that you must do a presentation on the last day of class. Then you must start to think:

-          You must do the presentations in groups of three or four people.

-          The presentations must be related to topics that we have studied in class or the afternoon activities. This means that your presentations must be about some aspect of Catalan vocabulary or Catalan culture, or some aspect of geographical or historical interest in Catalonia or Tarragona.

-          The presentation must be 10 minutes long and you can use power point, prezi or any other audio-visual media.

-          All members of the group must participate in the presentation.

-          You can do the presentation in the language in which you are most comfortable, but you should try to use some Catalan words if you can.

-          The presentation is worth 40% of the final grade for the course.

On Castells and Castellers

EILC is something else than learning a language: is also an experience and an opportunity for Erasmus students to know a Culture, a People and its traditions and perspective of the world.

During the second day of the Course the students toured Tarragona with the purpose of knowing some of the most important places in the city. 

One of the stops was the well-known Monument als castellers, in Rambla Vella, where a group photo was taken in a sort of prologue of the next day's workshop. 

Thanks to Xavier Brotons, journalist, professor and expert in the tradition of Castellers, Wednesday afternoon the participants of the EILC were introduced to this ancient tradition. A collaborative, ephemeral and intense sport - as Erasmus experience is.
